Machined Parts Inspector, Senior

You will be the Machined Parts Inspector, Senior for the Quality team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) in Camden, AR. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of machined parts, supporting the production of critical systems and components. As the Machined Parts Inspector, Senior, you will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating machined parts to guarantee compliance with customer and company specifications. You will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of quality that Lockheed Martin is known for. Your responsibilities will include: Inspect machined or partially machined parts using predetermined methods and sequences Devise setups to measure complex dimensions and tolerances Work from drawings, sketches, and specifications to ensure accuracy Analyze defective parts to determine the cause of defects and recommend corrective action Track and record data, create records, and generate quality notifications or Tool Action Requests for non-conformances Utilize various measurement devices, such as Laser Tracker, Faro Arm, CMM, and precision instruments As a detail-oriented and collaborative individual, you will thrive in this role as a Machined Parts Inspector, Senior. This position is in Camden. Discover more about our Camden, Arkansas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Basic Qualifications: HS diploma or GED Ability to obtain security clearance Ability to accurately interpret mechanical blueprints Ability to assess product based on given specifications and criteria Ability to use hand gages (micrometer, caliper, height gage) required for assessing designated criteria Working knowledge of statistical process control principles Experience in operating Coordinate Measuring Machine preferred Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel Desired Skills: Prior knowledge or experience in using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers and coordinate measuring machines is desired. Knowledge and experience in SAP Defect documentation Inspection experience Production experience preferred Familiarity with blueprint reading/GD&T This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
