Forklift Operator And Material Handler
Join our team as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler, where you'll work in a dynamic warehouse environment handling power and telephone equipment, cabling, boxes, and more. Your duties will include reading work orders using an RF scanner, operating a sit-down forklift, receiving, storing, and loading materials, conducting inventory checks, and preparing packages with shipping labels. Responsibilities
Read work orders using an RF scanner. Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials. Receive and store items efficiently. Load materials from trucks or semis. Perform inventory checks to ensure accuracy. Package products and prepare shipping labels. Essential Skills
Material handling expertise. Experience in warehouse operations. Proficient forklift operation skills. Strong teamwork capabilities. Keen attention to detail. Effective time management. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience. At least 1 year experience with RF scanners. 6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience. Ability to lift up to 50-70 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently. Why Work Here?

Work in a non-temperature controlled warehouse with an AC break room. This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa, with a small team of 6-7 people. The role operates on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 2:30pm to 11pm, with minimal overtime. The dress code includes jeans, shorts, a work-appropriate shirt, and steel-toed boots.
