Responsibilities
Operate and drive commercial vehicles in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations. Plan routes and maintain scheduled delivery windows with advance dispatch for improved planning. Maintain safety and compliance standards; report incidents and issues as required.
Pay, bonuses and benefits
Average pay: $1,020-$1,250 weekly. Sign-on bonus: $3,000 (experienced drivers) or $1,000 (inexperienced drivers), paid over 12 monthly payments in the first year. Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty (not driving). Weekly performance pay; potential annual bonus up to 2% of annual gross pay. Paid orientation and paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 holiday days per year. 401(k) with company match; medical, dental and vision insurance; tuition reimbursement ($200/month, up to $7,000). Unlimited referral bonuses; credits for Military Experience and Military Apprenticeship programs.
Qualifications
Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL). HazMat endorsement preferred. Passport, FAST card or Enhanced CDL may open more opportunities.
