AM Shift:
Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay:

Safety Integrity Customer Focus Respect and Trust Accountability Excellence Responsibilities
The Quality Inspector is responsible for upholding current safety policies and overseeing the product development process to ensure that all products meet quality standards. They perform tests on products at various stages of production to ensure customer specifications, blueprints, and Purchase Order requirements are met and company quality standards are followed. Final inspection of product to ensure compliance with customer technical specifications, blueprint and Purchase Order requirements. Inspect, test and/or measure materials or products being produced. Document FAI measurement results and complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports. Act as liaison with other departments and organizations. Provide leadership, technical advice and counsel to team members. Investigate, recommend, and implement process improvements that affect quality, cost and speed. Report quality problems to QA Manager and follow up to ensure corrective action takes place. Maintain records of inspections and prepare lists of defects; collaborate with other departments to ensure specifications are met and parts are accepted. Ensure quality check procedures are followed during every production phase. Take full responsibility for product shipped to customers. Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate. Qualifications
Key Skills and Experience: 1 year of experience related to QA engineering in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings Knowledge of measuring gauges, calipers, and instruments Effective communication with employees at all levels, verbally and in writing Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent Why Join Steico Industries, Inc.
