Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Loss Prevention team as a Loss Prevention Officer at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, just outside of Charleston, SC. Responsibilities Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities. Monitors surveillance cameras, inspects property, and monitors crowds. Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency. After business hours, checks doors, offices, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure. Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property. Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives. Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises. Responds to accidents and assists guests and employees during emergencies. Defuses guest disturbances and escorts individuals from the property if necessary. Conducts investigations, gathers evidence, and facilitates interviews with relevant parties. Completes required shift reports and maintains confidentiality of all loss prevention information. Works a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Rate of Pay and Schedule
Rate of Pay: $20/hr plus $2.00 overnight differential Schedule: Swing Shift and Overnight 3pm-11pm, 7pm-3am, 11pm-7am Qualifications Working Conditions
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat) Must be able to walk, enter and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry up to 15 lbs., frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs. Must be able to twist, bend and squat frequently; kneel or crawl occasionally; infrequently climb a ladder Must be able to perform repetitive hand and arm movements, pushing and pulling and simple grasping frequently; squeezing, overhead reaching and fine manipulation occasionally
