Warehouse Inventory Clerk/Cycle Counters

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Inventory Clerk/Cycle Counter in Port Deposit, Maryland. Positions pay weekly plus hourly at $21.50 per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour when working third shift. Schedules include multiple shifts available (3 x 12 hour shift and 1 x 6 hour shift). High school diploma or equivalent preferred One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified Ability to recognize and read location, date, and product codes Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices Important Note:

Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments Participate in physical inventories as necessary Provide floor support to operation supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed Maintain good manufacturing practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands Performs other duties as assigned Ryder is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
