Ambassador Customer Assistant
The Ambassador Customer Assistant provides assistance and information to airport passengers. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package. Basic qualifications include being 18 years of age or older, no high school diploma, GED or college degree required, and no experience required with on-the-job training provided. Preferred qualifications include one year of customer service or similar work experience. Responsibilities include acting as a welcome ambassador for arriving passengers, greeting and engaging with passengers in the terminal area to offer informational assistance, communicating effectively with passengers regarding airport and airline services, assisting the Airline Passenger Assistant with transporting passengers in wheelchairs, escorting unaccompanied minors, assisting with baggage, monitoring and enforcing carry-on baggage size requirements, coordinating passenger lines at check-in, providing assistance to passengers using kiosks to check-in, assisting the Aircraft Cabin Agent with grooming aircrafts, transferring and distributing wheelchairs, alerting maintenance employees about malfunctioning restrooms, elevators, or other equipment, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operation, and following safety precautions at all times.
