Material Handler 2 - Shipping (2nd Shift) - El Paso, TX

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Handler 2 - Shipping (2nd Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $17.31 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This is a unique opportunity to lead the effort to build a new operation as production in El Paso gets started. The Material Handler will provide manufacturing expertise and support in the Storeroom and production area including, but not limited to, allocation of materials, planning, scheduling, verifying, receiving, and shipping with the overall goal of timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton's quality standards. You will be responsible for: Picking multiple orders for production assembly Resolving warehouse challenges with attention to detail Performing accurate inventory transactions Complying with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner Understanding and meeting all departmental safety objectives and goals Supporting assigned work-area clean and organized per 5S standards Closely following established procedures for completing assigned function and performing special assignments and/or projects as assigned Executing warehouse transactions through AS400 and using various complex business systems Ability to obtain a forklift certification through workplace training Qualifications: Education and Minimum Experience Requirements: Must have a High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. Minimum of 6 months manufacturing, distribution, or military experience. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Eaton El Paso, TX facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
