As a Quality Inspector IV, you will support Quality directly on the manufacturing floor, performing in-process and final inspections for various assemblies throughout their manufacturing processes to ensure the product is free of defects. All aspects of the product are evaluated, including circuit card assemblies, solder joints, adhesive applications, and hardware builds through visual inspection and the use of microscopes, gauges, and other inspection tools as required. The process and part documentation are also reviewed in detail to ensure accuracy and compliance to requirements. Other Quality functions such as process auditing and continuous improvement activities are also supported. This position is 1st shift- 4/10s-Monday through Thursday with potential of working OT. The role is fulltime on site in a manufacturing team environment in collaboration with Quality Engineering, Operations, and Process Engineering. Work is performed in various factory areas, inclusive of cleanrooms. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Required Education, Experience, & Skills: High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of 3-4 years of experience directly related to quality inspection or quality control within electro-mechanical production/manufacturing environment High proficiency with electronically documenting data/findings and using databases Experience using a microscope Ability to work with various technical documents (specifications, drawings, process sheets, etc.) Strong verbal and written communication skills Act as trainer for team cross-training Participate in audits Active Secret security clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills: Knowledge of and experience with electronics manufacturing in accordance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards Existing IPC-A-610 Certification Pay Information: Full-Time Salary Range: $64723 - $103557. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
