Material Handler
BAE Systems is seeking a Material Handler to join its organization. In this role you will: Handle receiving, transporting, storing, and ensuring accurate inventory levels of materials within the warehouse Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site Perform a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving Open containers using hand tools: counts, weighs and samples materials and uses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and recording information Operate a forklift Follow department's material handling practices and procedures along with customer requirements in a safe and efficient manner Verify quantity, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation Work with Oracle and other computer systems including both in-house programs and customer portals Work with a team and collaborate with other departments to meet production needs Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience Proficient Forklift Operator Experience in manufacturing or warehousing Strong communication skills Inventory Control Experience Must be able to work with a team Availability to work overtime Organizational skills Ability to physically lift objects up to 35 pounds A strong work ethic Basic math skills Strong attention to detail Cycle count and inventory investigations experience Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Time management skills Ability to work alone or as a team Experience with Oracle or similar system Computer skills Shipping and receiving material handler experience Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $37295 - $59672. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
