Job Summary

Summary Performs a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving foods and beverages in one or more of a variety of food service environments. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions Performs preparation duties such as rinsing, peeling, slicing, and dicing fruit and vegetables. Weighs and measures ingredients. Wraps, date-labels, and stores food items. Cleans and organizes work areas, equipment, utensils, and service station. Follows established recipes to prepare menu items. Follows guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control. Serves customers in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner. Provides customers with information regarding food ingredients, availability, and pricing. Escalates customer concerns and complaints to management. Complies with relevant safety, hygiene, and service standards and procedures. Qualifications

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? Yes Licenses and Credentials Experience experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of role 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions. Ability to read and write. Ability to understand and follow safety procedures. Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies. Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects. Knowledge of food service lines set-up and temperature requirements. Skill in cooking and preparing a variety of foods. Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards. Additional Job Details
