Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB
Join a vibrant team at a Level 2 NICU hospital located in Fresno, California. This dynamic facility focuses on providing exceptional care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, leveraging advanced EPIC electronic medical records. As an Obstetrics Hospitalist, you will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to achieving outstanding patient outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality obstetrical care in a collaborative hospital environment.
- Care for approximately 13-14 patients daily across inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic settings.
- Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and care management.
- Work five to six twenty-four-hour shifts monthly, from 7 AM to 7 AM the following day.
- Participate in weekend shifts that follow the same schedule as weekdays.
- No on-call responsibilities involved.
- Handle an average of 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour period, with the majority being vaginal deliveries.
- Participate in holiday coverage for holiday pay premiums.
- Submit required documentation including delivery experience and training history.
- Engage virtually for initial and secondary interviews via platforms such as Teams or Zoom.
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- 1-5 years of relevant practice experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications.
- Active California medical license or pending application for licensure.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
- Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology - REQUIRED.
- BLS, ACLS, DEA certifications - REQUIRED prior to start.
- Active CA medical license - REQUIRED.
- COVID-19 vaccination - REQUIRED.
