Locums Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Clinic + Call Springfield, MO Why This Role

  • Schedule: Clinic Tuesâ€"Thurs 8aâ€"4:30p (8â€"10 patients/day); OR coverage and 24-hr call rotation 1:4; specific block dates outlined with long-term scheduling anticipated Janâ€"Jul 2026
  • Patients per Day: 15
  • Call Details: In-house 24-hr call, 20-minute response, 5 phone consults per night; OR and weekend coverage included
  • EMR: Epic
    • Requirements
  • Licensed PA eligible to practice in any state or able to obtain Missouri license
  • ACLS and BLS
  • Clean history
  • Experience in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery
    • Clinical Details
  • Scope: Cardiothoracic surgery practice (no vascular cases) with OR coverage, inpatient rounding, and limited outpatient clinic
  • Typical Procedures/Responsibilities:
    • - Assist in cardiothoracic surgery procedures (CTs, no vascular) - Perform H&P and perioperative care (PAs do not admit) - Overnight call, patient call, and OR support including weekends - Outpatient clinic 2â€"3 days per week as scheduledCompensation
  • Rates: Facility is accepting bids
