Supports building and hiring a strong team by observing in-store interviews and department tours. Builds a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate to build mutual trust and respect, contributing to a strong store recognition culture. Plans, organizes, and coordinates month-ahead activities with guidance from the Assistant Store Manager, including workforce alignment to execute daily assignments, game plans, projects, or store events. Strategically leverages teammates to meet brand standards, execute programs and processes daily, and delegate tasks by priority. Upholds merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards. Assists the store leadership team with general supervision in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Assists with training teammates on procedures and programs, including onboarding new teammates and cross-training current teammates. Prioritizes coaching and development; provides hands-on coaching and explains the “why” behind tasks, plans, and processes (e.g., Protection Plans, Scorecards, Loss Prevention). Leads by example to align team responsibilities with organizational goals and deliver an exceptional shopping experience. Creates an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected. Adheres to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures; maintains confidentiality of Company information. Takes an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store. Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays. Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour). Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours). Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform. Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours continuously). Based on location, you may be required to submit state-mandated clearances to supervise minors. Senioriry level
