Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Asheville, North Carolina. Warehouse positions pay weekly with hourly pay of $17.12 per hour. Schedule: First shift, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US. Apply here with Ryder today. Products being handled include management of inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc. Equipment includes stand-up and sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Must have a clean driving record and a personal vehicle and travel within the area approximately 25-50% of the day Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and enter orders into a WMS System Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Must be able to work both indoors and outside Responsibilities: Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.) Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract Performs other duties as assigned Ryder is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and drug free workplace.
