Resin Handler
The Resin Handler is responsible for preparing the correct raw materials for molding machines. This includes moving and mixing raw materials, maintaining material integrity, and processing regrind effectively. Responsibilities Understand different materials and supply the correct material to presses. Clean and set up grinders, and tend to their operation. Mix the required quantity of material needed for production. Ensure hoppers are free of material and order material from the warehouse based on work orders. Clean hoppers, dryers, hoses, magnets, and filters on any machine at the end of a run. Clean and vacuum around machines, and break down empty resin containers for storage or disposal. Correctly set up color mixers and cover for operators during their breaks. Label and return unused material to the warehouse correctly. Essential Skills Manufacturing experience. Experience with injection molding machines is a plus. Dexterity with hands due to the fast pace of work. Ability to lift 55 pounds and stand for 12 hours. Attention to detail and computer knowledge. Proficiency in reading and writing in English. Good math skills and ability to read a tape measure. Inventory experience and the ability to use a scale to weigh and measure materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with measurement tools. Experience in using a forklift. Knowledge of injection mold and production processes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
