Position Overview
The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for servicing and retaining a book of personal insurance clients. This includes managing policy renewals, processing changes, and supporting clients with coverage guidance and day-to-day service needs. Work location arrangements
This is a full-time position reporting to our office in Apopka, Florida. Professional Responsibilities Client Servicing:
Respond to client requests, process renewals, endorsements, and policy changes with accuracy and timeliness. Coverage Review:
Evaluate current policies to identify gaps, recommend updates, and ensure appropriate protection. Re-Quoting & Remarketing:
Provide alternative quotes when needed; remarket accounts based on client requests or premium changes. Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in the agency management system. Policy Compliance:
Ensure all client applications and renewals comply with underwriting and carrier guidelines. Carrier & Internal Coordination:
Communicate with carriers, producers, and internal teams to support seamless client interactions. Cross-Selling Support:
Identify opportunities for additional lines (e.g., umbrella, flood, jewelry) and assist with upsell efforts. Team Collaboration:
Provide support to sales agents and colleagues as needed; contribute to a collaborative team environment. Industry Knowledge:
Stay current on personal lines products, underwriting requirements, and regulatory updates. Professionalism:
Maintain ethical standards and client confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensing:
Active Florida 2-20 or 20-44 Insurance License required. Experience:
2+ years of experience servicing Personal Lines insurance accounts; agency or brokerage experience preferred. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Systems Proficiency:
Familiarity with AMS360 or similar agency management systems; Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Product Knowledge:
Understanding of personal lines products such as home, auto, umbrella, and specialty coverages. Client Service:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; responsive, empathetic, and solutions oriented. Organization:
Able to manage tasks independently, prioritize deadlines, and follow through. Team Fit:
Collaborative mindset; willing to assist others and contribute to shared success. Language Skills:
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but not required. Work Authorization:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Compensation Range
A starting base salary in the $40,000-$50,000 per year range, depending on the candidate's experience. Salary transparency note: A wide salary range is posted for this position, and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
