The primary responsibility is the daily cleaning of the spiral freezers of the facility. You will follow established disassemble and re-assemble equipment procedures to complete the cleaning process. All parts must remain with the equipment after cleaning. You will remove waste from the areas and place it in designated containers. You must work in a safe, timely, and efficient manner at all times and follow GMPs, PPE, and Safety regulations. Follows all good housekeeping practices, SSOPs and USDA guidelines for food/sanitation. May operate pallet jacks. Responsibilities
Ensure product on the floor is squeegee/scooped and placed in appropriate disposal bin. Do not place food products/gloves/wraps down the drain. Ensure drain covers are in place. Minimize water use in cleaning to control overspray and cross contamination. Ensure motors/electrical panels/plugs are covered properly. Properly disassemble/assemble equipment for cleaning. Ensure all parts remain with the equipment and are stored properly. Follow lock out tag out procedures. Follow GMPs and USDA guidelines for food/sanitary practices. Operate controls of equipment and report malfunctions or hazards to supervisor. Assist as directed in the cleaning process. Maintain a clean environment around machinery at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by lead or supervisor; may be required to support other lines as sanitation activities are required. Qualifications
Must be able to communicate; reading and writing English preferred (Bilingual preferred). Stand, reach, bend, and climb steps/stairs occasionally; lift up to 50 lbs frequently. Work well with others and meet required demands on work/quality to support sanitation processes. Works with minimum supervision. Desirable Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Read and understand cleaning chemicals used in the role. Willingness to assist on other lines and areas as sanitation activities are required. Documentation and Procedures

Team member works around moving machinery and is exposed to hot/cold/refrigerated conditions, loud noise, and wet floors that may be slippery. Be aware of surroundings. Physical Demands
Must be able to travel throughout production areas. Must be able to push, pull, and lift occasional heavy loads (up to 50 lbs). Must be able to work flexible hours based on operational needs. Must be able to operate power washers for cleaning if required. Compensation & Benefits
The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $17.50 plus $2/hr shift differential. Individual base pay depends on location, experience, skills, and education.
