To manually set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms in accordance with the hotels high standards of quality. Essential Job Functions

Keep storage rooms maintained and organized. Maintain back hall; breakdown dirty dishes and bring to dish room. Pickup linen and put away. Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest, including transporting heavy materials (staging, tables, chairs, dance floors) from storage to meeting rooms. Break down meeting rooms after events and return items to storage for next function. Maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms to ensure presentable spaces. Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water. Communicate with supervisor throughout shift to stay updated on work. Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel products to meet health standards. Perform other duties as requested, including cleaning spills or handling special guest requests. Adhere to all company policies and procedures; follow safety and security procedures. Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures; use protective equipment as required. Report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, near-misses, or property damage to supervisor/manager. Contribute to a safe work environment by following all safety and security rules. Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per team member handbook. Perform related duties as requested by supervisor/manager; assist other Banquet Personnel when needed. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Hold a current Food Handler Card. Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette. Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware; familiarity with different setup styles (e.g., round, schoolroom). Basic English sufficient to understand inquiries and convey simple instructions. Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions for safe product use. Ability to remember and promote a variety of menu items. Ability to operate beverage equipment (e.g., coffee maker). PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and podiums up to 80 lbs; substantial physical activity during setup and breakdown. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with hand carts or equipment. Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling. Benefits
