Jetro Restaurant Depot Job Title: Hilo Driver Perishable Overview
Move merchandise throughout the warehouse from receiving to a customers car door. Complete required paperwork to support the function. Tag or mark orders as requested. Move product from staging or storage into the truck or trailer being loaded. Slot move product as necessary and complete paperwork to support that function. Comply with all safety, security, regulatory, and company policies. Responsibilities
Perform warehouse operational procedures including sorting, loading/unloading activities, documentation, and provide information regarding inventory gaps. Before storage, count product, compare to the manifest, and inspect inbound shipments for damage, infestation, and production dates. Report shortages, overages, damage to the appropriate manager. Compare quantity, quality, labeling, and consignee address to the customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct. Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment as required, and assist in unloading or loading product moving into or out of the warehouse. Participate in physical inventories as required. Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas and promote safety. Assist in maintaining warehouse security. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Experience in service, production, or support roles with responsibility to perform standard work within the function. High school diploma or GED equivalent. One year of experience in a related area of responsibility. Experience using technology for daily tasks, including MS Office, web navigation, and basic hardware functions. Strong oral and written communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with internal teammates and business units. Proven initiative to accomplish tasks creatively with urgency and assertiveness. The HiLo Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise, and may perform Order Filler and Checker duties. Must operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods. Physical Demands
Consistently required to sit, talk, and hear; may need to climb, crouch, or crawl. Operate equipment using hands, carry and move merchandise. Drive or ride in a motor vehicle. Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Seniority level
