The Security Ambassador is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and company assets while providing excellent customer service. The focus shall always be on ensuring a safe and comfortable environment with a positive can-do attitude, emphasizing the highest level of guest service for both external and internal guests to Live! Casino & Hotel. Responsibilities Where You'll Make an Impact: Greet guests with a smile and a warm welcome Check ID cards of guests entering the casino and hotels. Refuse entry to persons under 21 or those without proper authorization, or carrying weapons or prohibited items Explain the rules, regulations, and code of conduct for the casino and hotels Interact professionally with the public when providing assistance, directions, and inquiries Assist with customer disputes, intoxicated individuals, criminal matters, and traffic control Resolve complaints within scope; refer others to management Notify supervisor or management of unusual events, incidents, or crimes Respond to medical or fire emergencies involving guests Operate the Security Dispatch Office and communicate via radio and telephone Monitor entry points, maintain visitor logs Monitor guest and staff passage in designated areas Control traffic in valet and parking areas Investigate injuries and incidents Assist in transporting money, chips, tokens, and markers Report safety hazards and ensure safety and security of all guests and staff Perform other duties as assigned

Skills To Help You Succeed Report writing skills Proper telephone etiquette Reading and understanding memos Multitasking ability Excellent customer service skills Valid drivers license Ability to work under time pressure and in an interruptive environment Alertness at all times Dexterity for daily activities and emergencies

Qualifications Must-Haves: High school diploma or GED preferred 1-2 years security experience with guest service focus preferred Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking Ability to secure and maintain required licensure by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or other authorities

Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods Ascend and descend stairs Work in extreme temperatures Perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs, running, stooping, bending, reaching Operate vehicles like Segways or bicycles
