Traffic Control Technician

The job of a traffic control technician is to assist with ensuring pedestrians and automobiles do not interfere with a construction project. As a TC laborer, your duties are to assist in directing or diverting pedestrian and vehicle traffic to ensure the safety of the workers and traveling public in the work zone. Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include placing temporary traffic control devices such as sign stands, barricades, and delineators as needed to cover the scope of work being performed by the contractor. Assisting in setting up proper lane closures, flagging/shift setups, and road closures all per M.U.T.C.D standards or approved TC plan. Work is performed outdoors at construction sites (various locations). Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience Class C driver's license Compensation:
