The Sales Associate successfully executes merchandising and sales goals in the off/on-premise market as assigned by the Associate Director of Regional Sales. They provide hands-on support to various accounts and distributors by building displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring the Karl Strauss brand is available to consumers for purchase. They work with the Associate Director of Regional Sales on increasing distribution through a targeted list of goals. Essential Functions & Duties

Visits assigned merchandise accounts to build displays and stock shelves per the direction of the Associate Director of Regional Sales. Completes and submits tracking reports daily to the Associate Director of Regional Sales, and reports non-compliance in a timely manner. Drives in-store presence in line with ideal store standards. Increases permanent product disruption points at ambient and cold locations in stores above the competition. Calls on local buyers, decision-makers, and key account managers regularly, building strong relationships and networking within the field. Creates and maintains a regular schedule of distributor ride-alongs. Creates authentic relationships with account buyers to secure high-profile in-store square footage for Karl Strauss and Endless Summer displays. Acts as a coach to distributor representatives, motivating them to achieve sales goals. Works with the wholesaler sales team to educate on Karl Strauss and Endless Summer brands. Runs promotions and beer tastings at licensed accounts as directed. Assists with sales/promotions and related projects, planning activity over 30-60-90 days. Executes national and local promotion opportunities. Drives events across the territory in both on and off-premise markets. Focuses on channel selling strategies to win placements for wholesalers. Covers the defined territory and completes all calls allocated to it. Shares our craft at events and promotions as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Beverage sales or merchandising experience preferred. Minimum associate degree; bachelors preferred. Excellent communication skills. Ability to develop positive buyer-seller relationships. Strong organizational skills. Self-starter, entrepreneurial, capable of working independently. Passion for Karl Strauss Brewing Companys mission. Team-oriented and community-focused. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Clean driving record required. Must complete Certified Beer Server Exam within 90 days of hire. Physical Demands

Requires walking, standing, driving for over 75% of workday. Heavy work includes lifting up to 100 pounds, frequent bending, squatting, and climbing stairs. Job Details
