Housekeeping Attendant
Performs general clean up tasks, maintains banquet rooms and other areas and hotel in general. Responsible for collecting and distributing linens, setting up meeting space as well as fulfilling any additional guest requests. Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products. Perform other duties as requested by manager. Assist with any operational duties to execute special guest requests. Clean areas and perform duties not included in the standard work description. Collect and distribute linens, stock in proper locations. Remove waste from the service areas. Clean assigned areas by using correct equipment. Set up event rooms as per BEO guidelines. Confirm set up with Captain or manager prior to events. Gather and bring to the event space all supplies required. Set up and break down all furniture and equipment. Set up and remove required AV equipment. Work closely with team members and management. Maintain banquet rooms and employee areas. Report and correct any observed discrepancies. Maintain organization and cleanliness of banquet storage spaces. Qualifications and Requirements:
Some previous housekeeping experience preferred. Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred. Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred. Basic reading, writing and mathematical abilities. Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility. Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds. Regularly use commercial cleaning chemicals. Work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pay range $26.02 -$27.02. Pay rate outlined follows contract requirements.
