Quality Inspector

Inspect aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to the manufacturer's specifications and government regulations. Responsible for identifying any breach of standards for airworthiness. Inspection authority includes all in-process inspections, final inspection of minor work, and approval for return to service of minor work. Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft and components to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards. Identify and report any deviations from manufacturer specifications and government regulations. Perform in-process inspections and approve final inspections of minor work. Approve return to service for minor works. Handle and inspect hazardous materials and ensure safety protocols are followed. 5+ years of experience in aircraft quality inspection. A&P license. Experience in airworthiness, return to service, and comprehensive aircraft inspections. Ability to interpret engineering drawings. Eligibility for a security clearance. Experience in a modification or manufacturing environment. Flexibility to work different shifts as needed. This position offers a long-term opportunity with the potential for conversion from contractor to direct employment. The role involves frequent exposure to outdoor elements, hazardous materials, and loud noises. The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
