We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Personal Lines Account Manager
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of our agency. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including handling renewals, endorsements, and policy changes. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and addressing their insurance needs. Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, issue new policies, and process claims. Proactively identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling additional insurance products. Stay current on industry trends, insurance products, and underwriting guidelines. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and team members. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Contribute to the overall success of the agency by meeting or exceeding retention and growth goals.
Qualifications/Requirements
At least 1-2 years of previous independent agency experience required. Strong understanding of personal insurance products, coverages, and underwriting. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Detail-oriented and organized with a strong customer focus. Proficient in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite. Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
