Material Handler
The Material Handler will process parts through the organization. Material Handlers make sure production areas are fully stocked and have the products they need to fulfill orders and move quickly. Adhere to all safety procedures, processes, and PPE usage Maintain 5S of work area Required to operate forklift, pallet jack and dollies throughout manufacturing facility Maintain all quality specifications of work task Deliver parts, supplies and products to the loading dock Load/unload trailers Pull stock from inventory Drive and stage trucks, bumpers or other accessories Perform other assignments as required Position Qualifications & Requirements
Education / Certifications High School diploma or GED preferred Experience Entry level Tier 1 = 0-1 years experience Prior manufacturing experience Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies preferred Skills and Abilities: Ability to work overtime and varied shift assignments as required Ability to stand 8-10 hours Must have 20/40 vision with or without corrective lenses Ability to read a load list and pick materials/parts Basic math and computer skills Ability to work inside and outside of the facility in all types of weather Ability to operate a crane Physical Requirements: Have 20/40 vision with or without corrective lenses Work environment Fast-paced manufacturing Non-controlled temperatures Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe boots, respiratory protection (if applicable) Travel: None The Reading Group, LLC (TRG) does not discriminate in hiring or employment on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, ancestry veteran status or any other status protected by law.
