Warehouse Manual Labor
This is a Manual Labor work in the operation of a warehouse and its associated processing equipment. Work involves responsibility for stock control, storage, distribution, processing, and receipt of inventory. The work requires some degree of independent action and judgement operating under well defined written policies and procedures. Duties: Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, using pallet jacks and forklifts as needed. Operate a clamp truck to move pallets and heavy materials within the warehouse. Utilize a warehouse management system to manage inventory and ensure materials are properly stored and retrieved. Perform heavy lifting and bending tasks as required. Build and disassemble pallets as needed. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Use mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain warehouse equipment. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with other warehouse staff to meet productivity and efficiency goals. Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment is required. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment is highly preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an asset. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and bending tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
