Primary Purpose: The Administrative Assistant for Career & Technical Education (CTE) and Advanced Academics provides critical administrative, logistical, and operational support to district initiatives related to CTE, Dual Credit, and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR). This role ensures efficient coordination of day-to-day activities, supports data and compliance functions, facilitates professional development efforts, and strengthens communication between district departments, campuses, industry partners, and higher education institutions.

Position is grant funded for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years.

Qualifications: Education/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent required Associate or Bachelor degree preferred

Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of Texas CCMR indicators, CTE programs, and/or dual credit structures is highly desirable Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and data systems (e.g. PEIMS, TEAMS, or other student information systems) Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience: Minimum of three years of administrative experience; preferably in a K-12 or educational setting

Major Responsibilities and Duties: Administrative and Operational Support

Assist with scheduling, correspondence, documentation, and meeting coordination for the CTE, Dual Credit, and CCMR teams. Maintain accurate records, files, and tracking systems related to student participation, programs, partnerships, and certifications. Support grant tracking and documentation, including data collection and report preparation for compliance and performance reporting. Data and Compliance

Assist in collecting, organizing, and validating PEIMS and CCMR-related data to ensure accurate state reporting and accountability. Generate regular reports on program performance for CTE, dual credit enrollment, and CCMR outcomes for district leaders and campus staff. Monitor deadlines and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to CTE, dual credit, and postsecondary readiness. Program and Partnership Coordination

Help manage communication and documentation with industry partners, postsecondary institutions, and certification entities. Support campus administrators and counselors in implementing dual credit and career pathway opportunities. Assist in coordinating board documentation for academic partnerships and programs. Team and Department Collaboration

Support the implementation of district wide instructional initiatives by collaborating with school leadership and staff. Maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism while supporting department operations and workflow. Other duties as assigned. Other
