Our ideal candidate will be looking for a steady, reliable, long-term position, and excited to work in a true family atmosphere with amazing staff, and regulars. There is room for growth for interested candidates.

The candidate should possess the following attributes:

Operations Management: Oversee setup, service, and breakdown of the dining area, Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all spaces.  Manage ambiance—lighting, music, temperature

Guest Experience:
Greet and engage guests to create memorable experiences
Handle reservations, seating, and special requests
Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, following up with management for resolution

Staff Supervision & Training:
Support and supervise service staff including hosts, bartenders, and runners
Train new hires on service standards, menu knowledge, and policies
Conduct pre-shift briefings on specials, VIPs, and expectations

Service Excellence:
Uphold The Rubirosa’ ethos, standards, and etiquette
Monitor table turnover and facilitate smooth coordination between kitchen and dining room
Assist during peak times with serving and clearing tables

Inventory & Supplies:
Monitor front-of-house inventory—linens, tableware, menus, and supplies
Coordinate with back-of-house to maintain stock levels
Assist with monthly inventory counts

Financial Responsibilities:
Support cash handling and daily sales reconciliation
Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed
Manage labor costs, review timecards, and ensure accuracy

Health & Safety Compliance:
Enforce health, sanitation, and safety regulations
Conduct regular inspections to ensure standards are met

Event Coordination:
Assist in planning and executing private events and special functions
Coordinate with clients and vendors for seamless execution

Qualifications & Attributes

3-5 years of management experience in high-end or fine dining settings
Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest service
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency with restaurant management software and POS systems
Impeccable presentation and professional demeanor
Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure
Passionate about service excellence with keen attention to detail

Working Conditions:
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000- $80,000
