Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the pastry department, including menu development, production, plating, and presentation.
Develop and execute an innovative dessert menu that aligns with the overall culinary direction.
Produce high-quality breads for daily service, ensuring consistency and excellence.
Prepare amuse-bouche and specialty items as part of tasting menus.
Train, mentor, and manage pastry staff and ensure proper kitchen procedures are followed.
Collaborate with Executive Chef and FOH team to ensure smooth service and execution.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety standards.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for pastry-related items.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years experience in a high-end pastry or fine-dining environment.
Formal training from a culinary or pastry institute is preferred.
Deep knowledge of pastry techniques, bread baking, plated desserts, and modern presentation.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
