The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, digital strategy, research support and management consulting. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working professionals who are committed to electing Democrats and winning the House majority. Due to the cyclic nature of our organization, all positions are subject to separation at the end of the election cycle. Responsibilities
Provide the highest level of support and service as well as serve as primary liaison with DCCC Directors and cross departmental collaboration by providing prompt, professional responsiveness and excellent analytic insight; Present relevant analysis to Frontline members at quarterly Frontline meetings and delegation meetings; Foster a culture of learning that encourages Regional Analytics Directors to learn from national research and analysis; Coordinate with the National Analytics Director and fellow Directors in executing analysis that remains cohesive across the various stakeholders; Other duties as assigned by the Deputy Executive Director and National Analytics Director to ensure the success of the Analytics team. Skills And Qualifications
[Required] Several cycles of political experience, including at least 2-3 cycles of experience in data, targeting, or analytics; [Required] Exceptional public speaking ability with formal and informal groups with data-driven recommendations in a clear and persuasive manner; [Required] Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL, G-Suite; [Required] Self-directed but collaborative; able to strike the balance between proactive project management and conscientious teamwork; [Required] Proactively fosters an inclusive atmosphere and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; [Required] Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence – the awareness, knowledge and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant and productive ways; [Required] Personal and professional commitment to promoting and investing in cross-cultural skills and awareness related to individuals from broad backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability; [Required] Proven interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships with staff at all levels; [Preferred] Familiarity with congressional analytics and data strongly preferred; [Preferred] Working knowledge of common mapping challenges in data visualization, a working knowledge of GIS systems is preferred; [Preferred] Intermediate or advanced skills in Python, R is preferred.
