As Controller, you will be the financial backbone of the venue—overseeing reporting, audits, budgeting, and compliance. You’ll ensure accuracy in daily accounting operations, guide strategic financial decisions, and lead a small team to uphold Levy’s standards for operational integrity and fiscal responsibility. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial management or controllership Proficient in accounting software, Excel, and financial reporting tools Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Experience managing budgets and preparing financial statements Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations including AR/AP, payroll, and reconciliations Prepare and present monthly P&L reports and variance analyses Ensure financial compliance with corporate, state, and federal guidelines Support venue leadership in budgeting and forecasting Maintain internal control systems and audit readiness Supervise and develop accounting team members

Detailed Responsibilities: The Controller is responsible for managing all financial aspects of venue operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This position plays a strategic role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while ensuring adherence to company policies and financial compliance. The Controller collaborates closely with the General Manager and department heads to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency. Daily Tasks: Monitor and reconcile daily revenue, expenditures, and banking activity Review and approve invoices, payroll batches, and journal entries Run daily reports and communicate financial performance to leadership Respond to finance-related questions from other departments Manage cash handling procedures and investigate variances Track inventory and ensure accurate month-end recording Overarching Tasks: Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements Maintain budget controls and assist in quarterly forecasting Lead financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls Supervise the accounting team and support their development Analyze trends and variances to recommend financial strategies Partner with operational leadership to align financial and business goals Curious about Life at Levy?
