RECEPTIONIST (Per Diem)

Allegria Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Port Jefferson is a compassionate and dedicated skilled nursing facility committed to providing high-quality care for our residents. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Per Diem Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our facility as needed. The shift worked would either be 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm. The ideal candidate is customer service-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. *Please Note, this is a 1099 contractor position-not a direct employee Responsibilities:

Monitors and ensures the safety of the lobby area Ensures that no resident leaves the building unattended Stays with residents until alternate staff relief arrives Makes copies as assigned Ensures that visitors sign in Works with a minimum of supervision. Must function independently, have flexibility. personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, co-works, support agencies and outside agencies Must treat all residents and co-workers with dignity and respect. Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly and emotionally upset residents. Demonstrates awareness of safety issues and maintains a safe environment throughout the facility Requirements/Qualifications:

Entry Level (0-2 years) Prior receptionist or customer service experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with basic computer systems (email, Microsoft Office, etc.) Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment Must be dependable and punctual High School Diploma/GED Location:
