As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will serve as a key advisor and subject matter expert in budget formulation, execution, and financial analysis across complex initiatives. This role provides critical insight into cost forecasting, funding allocation, and program financial performance to ensure mission success and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
Provide financial support and analysis for planning, forecasting, decision-making, and delivery of financial commitments. Use corporate accounting systems such as Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, Hyperion (CAPS), SmartView, Cobra to obtain relevant financial data. Manage all program financials, including cost, funding, labor charging, forecasting, reporting, invoicing, and reviews. Act as the primary point of contact for the Program Manager on all finance and accounting issues. Develop and support annual operating plans, forecasts, and performance reports. Establish financial controls, procedures, and systems to evaluate contract and program status, ensuring compliance with USG and customer requirements. Monitor program progress and cost performance against plans. Prepare complex financial reports, conduct variance, risk, and profit/loss analyses, and liaise with operations and administrative support organizations. Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and customers, conducting investigations as needed. Evaluate performance results and recommend improvements. Qualifications
BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree preferred. At least 7 years of experience with a BA/BS degree. Knowledge of DCAA/DCMA systems, USG contracting, FAR, Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, EVM. Experience with DoD or USG programs. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Additional Information
This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X. The role is located at Los Angeles SFB. The work environment is office-based with potential support for austere locations. Must be able to lift/carry 20 lbs. Employment Details
