We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in life sciences facilities to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large-scale projects in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or laboratory sectors. This role requires excellent leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Lead all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources while proactively mitigating risks. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery. Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, EMA, and other regulatory standards relevant to life science facilities. Oversee construction of laboratories, cleanrooms, manufacturing facilities, vivariums, or other specialized spaces. Drive safety culture on-site and ensure compliance with OSHA and company-specific EHS policies. Provide regular project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, financial tracking, and risk assessments. Manage procurement and contract negotiations with subcontractors and vendors. Foster strong relationships with clients and ensure high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Lead project teams, mentor junior staff, and promote collaboration across disciplines. Qualifications ~ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). ~7+ years of project management experience in construction, with at least 3 years focused on life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or related sectors. ~ Strong knowledge of life science facility requirements, including cleanroom design, HVAC systems, utilities, and process equipment integration. ~ Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar construction projects from start to finish. ~ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. ~ Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore). ~ PMP certification, LEED accreditation, or other relevant certifications a plus.
