Are you a strategic Project Manager adept at driving project success from preconstruction to closeout?

My client, a Houston-based General Contractor and Construction Management firm, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee project execution and lead project teams. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who excels in client relations and financial management.

You will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, budget, and delivery of projects. Your focus will be on financial performance, client satisfaction, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project financials, including budgeting, cost forecasting, and procurement.
• Lead the project team, including superintendents, and serve as the main point of contact for the client and architect.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule in collaboration with the Superintendent.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage subcontractor and vendor contracts.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks related to budget, schedule, and scope.
• Manage the submittal, RFI, and change order processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely project documentation and reporting.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager for a general contractor.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing project P&L.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relations skills.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, drawings, and specifications.
• A thorough understanding of construction means and methods.
