A Banquet Steward/Dishwasher is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all hotel china, silverware, and cookware for our banquet functions. This person must have great verbal and written communication skills, basic mathematical reasoning, as well refined organizational skills, time management and a sense of urgency as this vital role will work alongside our Culinary and Banquets team in ensuring events are executed flawlessly and in a timely manner. In addition, this individual must be able to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight (50lbs). This is a fast paced position that will involve constant team works interactions.

The hourly rate for this position is $26.50/hour to $28.05/hour. The starting rate for this position is $26.50/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who remain in this position with Hyatt for four years or more, which is $27.03/hour. This position may also have a lead role, based on experienced, at $27.50/hour. For those colleagues who have remained as a lead steward for four years or more with Hyatt, the established rate is currently $28.05/hour.
