Essential Job Functions
Performs any functions within the scope of authority and expertise to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to the members served by the Credit Union.
Greets visitors as they arrive in lobby area; evaluates their needs by asking appropriate questions and listening carefully; refers the visitor to the proper destination. Announces visitor to appropriate personnel as requested. Reviews Monitor for lobby visitors. Contributes to a positive work environment and SMCU image by maintaining courteous, respectful, and effective interaction, teamwork and communication with employees and members to enhance positive behaviors and employee satisfaction. Answer incoming telephone calls and re-direct to appropriate contact Demonstrates teamwork by sharing essential information and assisting team workers. Reviews Inactive/Dormant reports and mails appropriate notices. Reviews and mails Status Change Notifications. Completes Verification of Deposits as received Fax and by Mail. Places orders for appraisals for mortgage department, completes verification upon receipt of completion. Assembles and distributes various packets and mailings as requested. Keeps reception area neat. Keeps current of the various products and services offered by attending product knowledge and related training sessions. Performs related clerical and administrative duties as may be required or assigned. Qualifications, Experience, and Education
High School diploma or equivalent. Good organizational, communication skills and strong attention to detail are required. Ability to utilize various types of office equipment, including computer hardware and software. Computer and Equipment Skills
Foundational computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications. Use of Outlook email and calendaring. Advanced skills with Microsoft applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and/or other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases. Use of online teleconferencing software (e.g., Zoom or Teams).

The individual frequently is required to stand, walk and sit. The individual is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or lift up to fifteen pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
