Aerospace Quality Inspector
The Quality Inspector conducts visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a wide range of mechanical and electrical parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies during the receiving, in-process, and final inspection process. Responsibilities include: Inspect mechanical and electrical parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies during receiving, in-process, and final inspections. Identify, document, and secure nonconforming parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies, and submit them to the Material Review Board (MRB) for disposition. Generate and follow up on internal and supplier corrective action requests. File and maintain quality records efficiently. Focus on continuous improvement and demonstrate good business judgment. Collaborate effectively with all internal departments, customers, and Regulatory Agencies to exceed expectations for customer satisfaction. Provide inspection feedback to suppliers and other departments to improve quality. Ensure compliance with customer, statutory, and regulatory agency regulations such as FAA, EASA, ITAR. Generate necessary inspection data sheets and documentation for recording and reporting inspection results. Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and generate/review documentation of FAI results in accordance with SAE AS9102. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Essential Skills include: Experience using quality tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, go/no-go gauges, and coordinated measuring machines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Proficiency in recording quality checks into a computer system, specifically using SAP ERP. Why Work Here?
