General Cafeteria Worker This position will mainly be in charge of running the snack shack at the high school. 3.75 hours per day, 184 days per year Qualifications Some experience with food service operations preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to follow oral and written directions Ability to work cooperatively with others Effective communication skills Responsibilities Assist the head cook with food preparation. Assist in setting up the food lines for service and replenish food as needed. Serve students in the serving line or operate the cash register. Record appropriate food and equipment temperatures. Assist with putting away received orders. Assist with monthly inventory. Attend trainings. Clean cafeteria tables at the end of lunch service and perform other cleaning duties as assigned. Other duties assigned by food service director or head cook.
