Medicus is collaborating with a facility in western South Carolina that has an opportunity for a skilled Medical Oncologist to assist their team.
About the Opportunity: Schedule: 8-hour shifts No call requirement Setting: Inpatient and outpatient Daily Census: 20 inpatients, 25 outpatients Patient Population: Adult and geriatric Case Split: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology Required Duties: Tumor board participation, bone marrow transplant management, blood bank, ordering tests and images, and prescribing medication Team Structure: 7 MDs, 6 APPs EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, walk through a downtown waterfall park, visit a contemporary art museum, and explore a massive urban park that includes a free zoo, gardens, and walking trails.
