About The Position

- 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off schedule Monday through Friday guaranteed 40 hours
- 3 - 4 OR cases daily, 10 - 20 rounding patients split between 2 providers
- 1:5 call with weekend responsibilities surgeon covers ICU calls 8pm - 7am
- OR First Assist, rounding on floor and CVICU
- Advanced cardiac and vascular procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and VATS
- Thoracentesis and chest tube placement skills required
- First Assist with EVH certification required
- No clinic responsibilities OR and inpatient duties only
