About The Position
Obstetrics and Gynecology Locums Physician in California - 24-Hour Shifts
OB hospitalist locums opportunity in California, near warm Central Valley towns.
Highlights:
- 24-hour shifts available; 12-hour options may be possible
- No clinic duties; L&D and emergent GYN only
- Flexible monthly scheduling; block options possible
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient-only coverage at facility with Level III NICU
- 4,600+ annual deliveries
- 24/7 in-house anesthesia support
- Team includes residents, hospitalists, and community OBs
Schedule:
- Pick your dates; multiple shifts monthly
- 24-hour in-house coverage model
- Summer and fall blocks still open
Cases and Procedures:
- Labor and delivery, emergent GYN only
- No outpatient or routine OB/GYN work
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in OB/GYN
- Active California license required (not IMLC eligible)
- NPDB self-query required for presentation
Travel Accommodations:
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
