About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 78-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a trauma center.
- Utilize advanced practice skills to diagnose, treat, and manage patient health problems.
- Prescribe medications and treatments with attention to accuracy and patient safety.
- Perform procedures pertinent to acute emergency care settings.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery.
- Document all patient care services and interactions in the Epic EMR system.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC); Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP); Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP-BC)
- Must hold a valid Missouri Nurse Practitioner license.
- Prior experience in an academic setting and trauma center is essential.
