About The Position
We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity begins on Oct 22, 2025, with a 40-day contract and requires coverage of 24-hour call shifts from 8a to 8a, averaging 20 shifts per month. Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage and perform 20-30 deliveries per month in a level 2 OB unit
- Provide OB/GYN consultations for cases presenting in the ER
- Respond to call-back situations as needed for patient care
- Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
- Adhere to all hospital protocols and compliance standards
Additional Information
- Must have an active Illinois medical license, DEA, CSR, ACLS, and BLS certifications
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Minimum of 1 year post-training experience required
- No NICU coverage or circumcisions required
