About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 2-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. This opportunity begins on Oct 15, 2025, with a 24-hour shift from 7 am on Oct 15 to 7 am on Oct 16 at a Trauma Center. The physician will manage a range of cases in a facility with ER beds and collaborate with a team of family practice physicians, a pediatrician, and nurse practitioners.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform all lifesaving procedures including intubation, extubation, and ventilation management
- Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
- Respond to emergency codes
- Manage trauma, pediatric, and geriatric cases (approximately 20% trauma, 30% pediatric, 25% geriatric)
- Work collaboratively with staff physicians and nurse practitioners
- Coordinate patient referrals to designated referral centers as needed
