About The Position
Wellhart is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in Washington. The assignment begins on 11/15/2025, and involves 24-hour on-call coverage as well as clinic work. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a full spectrum of orthopedic cases, excluding complex pelvic issues. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled orthopedic surgeon to provide comprehensive care in both hospital and outpatient clinic settings. The exact schedule will be determined, with specific dates already set for November and December. There is potential for extension beyond the initial 90-day period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for orthopedic emergencies
• Conduct outpatient clinic visits and follow-ups
• Perform a wide range of orthopedic surgeries and procedures
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care
• Interpret diagnostic imaging including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Epic EMR system
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety standards
Additional Information:
• Must be licensed to practice in the state of Washington
• Comfortable handling a full spectrum of orthopedic cases, excluding complex pelvic issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
