About The Position
Wellhart is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens position in North Carolina. This 60-day assignment begins on 12/01/2025, with a one week on, one week off schedule. During the on-week, the physician will work 7 am to 3 pm, five days a week, plus take primary call. The role involves supervising during the day and handling primary OR/OB call after 3 pm and on weekends. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a variety of cases including OB, General, Endo, GYN, Orthopedics, and Podiatry. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Anesthesiologist to provide crucial services in a corporate healthcare setting using Epic EHR system.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Supervise anesthesia care during daytime hours
• Handle primary OR/OB call after 3 pm and on weekends
• Manage a variety of cases including OB, General, Endo, GYN, Orthopedics, and Podiatry
• Provide anesthesia services for scheduled and emergency procedures
• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop anesthesia plans
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
• Manage post-anesthesia care and recovery
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EHR system
• Adhere to facility protocols and maintain high standards of patient care
Additional Information:
• Active North Carolina medical license required
• Experience in a wide range of anesthesia cases essential
• Ability to work independently and handle primary call responsibilities
