About The Position
Wellhart is seeking a skilled Neurologist for a 25-day locum tenens assignment at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in Virginia. Starting on 10/04/2025, this position involves daytime shifts from 8am-5pm with on-call responsibilities from 5pm-8am on weekdays and 8am-8am on weekends. The assignment is split across multiple periods in October and November. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with radiologic exam interpretation, EEG, brain death exams, and EMG procedures. This role requires expertise in various neurological procedures and the ability to provide both routine and emergency neurological care. The physician should be proficient with the Epic electronic health record system.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive neurological care during daytime shifts
• Perform and interpret radiologic exams (unofficial)
• Conduct and interpret EEG (Electroencephalogram) studies
• Perform brain death examinations
• Carry out EMG (Electromyogram) procedures
• Respond to neurological emergencies during on-call hours
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Epic EHR system
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures
• Participate in patient rounds and consultations as needed
Additional Information:
• Must hold an active Virginia medical license
• Experience with Epic EHR preferred
• Assignment dates: 10/4-10/6, 10/13-10/20, 10/20-10/27, 11/3-11/10, 11/17-11/24
